Giuman brothers and the brewer Federico Casarin, very fond of the beauty of nature and its products, plunge themselves in that liquid which has been going along with humans for millenniums.
The first boiled must in 2008, realized with a handmade plant, marks the beginning of a journey which first landmark is the construction and the start up of Doge Brewery in 2013. Doge’s beer arises from selected earth fruit and local spring water. In our beer there is all the power of the venetian culture along with the assurance of a high-quality product.
Birrificio del Doge is going to take you to a brand new stage of beer history, a journey which starts trough Italy and arrives in Venice, yet it does not ends.
DOGE’S MADE IN ITALY
Birrificio del Doge produces with raw material which are selected by specialized sector leaders suppliers.
These high quality materials are combined with our local spring water, according the interpretation traditional recipes and the brewer art.
Doge’s beer is produced with the particular method of isobaric fermentation and then it is “lagerized”: the yeasts naturally decant and separates from the beer which, as a result, becomes more pleasant, full and limpid.
ZERO BRANCO: LAND OF WATER
Zero Branco is situated between Treviso and Venezia in the middle of an extended leve ground zone called Pianura Padana.
Its rural scenary offers a number of evocative landscapes, crossed by many watercourses. Its geomorphology is characterized by evocative rural sceneries, often spilled by many streams. Zero is the river which arises in our town and flows harmonious, drawing the square of that little municipality.
The Nature, in these territories, donates us a spring water with great qualitative characteristic to be used in purity by our brewery.
